Medium Format
Welcome to my
Medium Format guide. Included here are a number of different resources
to help you out. If you're primarily interested in modern medium format
SLR's, check out Danny
Gonzalez's overviews. They are an excellent resource for all the current
medium format cameras, giving both basic features and some opinions. He posted
them to rec.photo.equipment.medium-format some time ago, but they would become difficult to find after a few weeks. Robert Monaghan collected and posted them to his site, making them much more accessible. The second
section contains my suggestions for medium format, which gets a bit more
into how to choose a medium format camera on a budget. Thus I get a bit
more into TLR's, older SLR's, and some of the folding cameras out there. I also suggest you check out my Equipment
Review page, where I go over the cameras which I have owned.

Danny
Gonzalez's Medium Format Overviews: An excellent overview of all the
modern SLR systems, including some of the older models. If you're considering
spending over $2000 or purchasing new equipment, this is the best resource
for you. It's also a great way to find out exactly what's out there as
Danny included a little information on just about every medium format camera
ever made. This is direct link to the archive on the
Medium Format
Megasite.
