A razor blade based film cutter for 120 rollfilm can be setup to enable
re-rolling current 120 rollfilm cut down to 4cm widths onto your existing
127 film spools. So don't throw those spools away!
Michael Graham's Yashica 44 pages give a nice overview of the Yashica
44 TLR. Many
users are drawn to the small size and ability to use the 4x4cm superslides
and standard 35mm enlargers. Yet at twice the area of 35mm images and
slides, the quality is twice as good too! Thus 4x4cm represents a sort of
half-way point between 6x6cm and 6x4.5cm film and camera sizes, and 35mm
film and cameras.
