This Wirgin 6x9cm folder is a nice example of how such larger cameras could be used (with a mask, typically) to take other formats such as 6x4.5cm, as with the camera pictured here. Naturally, the larger 6x9cm negative can also be cropped or even cut-down to 6x7cm or 6x6cm formats too. Considering how compact the typical folder is when folded up (suit pocket size), it packs a lot of flexibility in a low cost medium format camera.
This is a nice clean camera. Bellows have some corner-cracking and general wear. It has a 3.8 Cassar f1.05mm lens in Prontor-S shutter with flash sync. Shutter runs from l second to 1/250th and seems to work well.
