Date: Sat, 20 Apr 2002 From: "[email protected]" [email protected] To: 'Robert Monaghan' [email protected] Subject: Taisei Koki Welmy 6 My Mom saw this in Australia and picked it up for me. It's a Taisei Koki Welmy 6. Externally/Cosmetically excellent, just a little bit dirty in a few places. Inside it is clean and appears to be in good condition. Even the bellows does not appear to have any light leaks. But the shutter is stuck open and one of the leaves on the iris disphragm is loose. Other than that, the specs: Lens: coated Welmy Terionar 1:4.5 75mm No. 10403 (I don't know if multi or single coated) Shutter: B, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/200 Apertures: f/4.5 - f/22 Focusing: rotate front cell, guess the distance type Film advance: manual film advance knob with nice, smooth but positive friction Film counter: red window on the back for 6x6 format only. Viewfinder: real image viewfinder, seems like extremely simple construction, just 2 pieces of glass Tripod mount: 1/4 inch type in lens axis Shutter release: on camera body, to the right of the viewfinder Other notes: has an accessory shoe, and appears to have a flash sync contact that I've never seen before on the side of the lens (or rather, the shutter). It has a very solid construction although it seems slightly lighter than my Welta Weltur (of course - no coupled rangefinder here). Best regards, Jason
