This Wardflex Twin Lens Reflex camera is a good example of the mid-range TLRs that were popular in the 1950s and 1960s. The top of the line Rolleiflex TLR cameras were followed by a number of Mamiya, Minolta, and Yashica TLRs as well as Rolleicords in the second rank of TLRs. Cameras like this Wardflex TLR made up the next rung in the hierarchy. Finally, there were a number of very inexpensive, usually bakelite bodied TLRs which correspond to the low end in both cost and results.
