The Nymco camera (~1938) is a curio "Yen" box camera. It used 3x5cm cut film in a paper holder.
The paper holder allowed you to process the exposed film without a darkroom simply by
putting the exposed film into a red colored developer solution, then a green colored
fixer. The camera had a single speed shutter and simple meniscus lens. This unusual film
processing and format probably explains why such simple folders still fetch $50 and up.
This little NYMCO FOLDING CAMERA is in excellent to mint condition. It has a very deco look. It is 4 1/2" long and 2 5/8' wide. This is a fragile little novelty camera that was probably stored and never used. A really nice addition to your camera collection.
