The Semi-Minolta P folder of 1951 was the last of the Semi series, and the last
folder camera marketed by Minolta. It featured a 75mm f/3.5 Chiyoko Promar Sii lens in
Konan Flicker shutter offering speeds from 1/2 to 1/200th second and bulb (with synch).
The eye level optical finder featured parallax correction markings for more accurate
framing of close subjects. This camera offers a low cost ($50-75+) entry point to
folders, and one that might be especially interesting to other minolta camera users.
This is a great little 120 roll film camera made by Minolta in 1951. The camera takes a 4.5 X 6cm format. This camera (SN 42753) has a 75mm f/ 3.5 Chiyako Promar SII lens (SN 55907) in a Konan-Flicker Shutter (speeds sec to 1/200). The Semi-P was the last of the folding cameras from Minolta. It has an eye-level optical finder. It has a little sync post of some kind, but I do not know how it operates. The lens is clean and clear, and the shutter speeds seem to work fine.
